Vusiwe Ngcobo was born on 26 September 1988 in the capital of Gauteng, Johannesburg. Her parents are renowned music personalities. Her father, Bheki Ngcobo, and her mother, Linah Khama, created the music groupĀ Ihashi Elimhlophe.

Her father goes by a stage name, White Horse, and Ebony is her mother’s stage name. The music duo dominated the South music space at their prime. 

Vusiwe has a sister, Ntombi Ngcobo, a television and radio personality. She has presented hit shows such as Come Again and Uyajola 9/9.

Education

Ngcobo attended primary and high schools in South Africa. After matric, she enrolled to study law at the University of Johannesburg. She holds an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

Ngcobo is a talented singer with many music performances. Music runs in her blood, and she co-created a music group, Amapoi, with her siblings in 2018. The group name translates to baby horses. They have released many songs since the creation of the group.

Vusiwe has a knack for presenting. She has worked as a presenter on YoTV presenter and a sports presenter for SABC. She co-hosted the 2023 Gauteng Sports Awards with the talented Katlego Maboe.
