Senzo Zondi (born 2 November 1990), known by his stage name as Ntencane, is a South African recording artist, singer, and songwriter. He is the Wawuthembeni hitmaker, a song that took the country by storm in 2020.
His first album won him the Ukhozi FM Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka campaign award. He is the second Maskandi artiste to receive the award. He made a name for himself over a short period of entering the entertainment industry.

Early Life
Ntencane was born Senzo Zondi on 2 November 1990 in KwaZulu-Natal, a coastal province of South Africa. He developed an interest in music from childhood. He would sing hit songs with his friends.
Fast-forward to today, the singer has collaborated with seasoned artists in South Africa. He has dropped hit songs that made waves. His family and friends supported him after noticing his love for music.
Education
Ntencane completed his high school education at Phezukomkhono High School in Johannesburg.
Career
Ntencane is currently one of the best Maskandi artists. His debut hit song, Wawuthembeni, brought him to the limelight in 2020. His first album featured Wawuthembeni and won the Ukhozi FM Ingoma Ehlukanisa Unyaka campaign award.
His song beat Master KG’s Jerusalem with more votes to emerge number one, while Jerusalema came second. He has continued to drop other hits like Bayangi sabawela, uThando Lwethu, Nguyen lo, and Ukube Ngangozi.

Personal Life
Senzo Ntencane is in a love triangle involving three women. He is reportedly juggling his girlfriend, Nombuso Gcabashe, with two other women – Nomfundo Shezi and Mandisa Nxumalo.
Ntencane lost his mother in November 2022. She was ill, so he decided to delay his album’s release and focus on her.
The singer is a lover of football and a fan of Kaizer Chiefs FC. He received a jersey gift from the footballer Njabulo Ngcobo.
