Nthabiseng Ramaboa (born 22 October 1985), more popularly known as Chef Nti, is a talented South African TV Chef, MC, author and entrepreneur. She is best known for hosting a local cooking show, The Perfect Ace. She joined the culinary industry in 2014 after completing food research in Los Angeles.
The multi-talented Chef is the proud owner of the restaurant Taste Kitchen in Maboneng Precinct in Johannesburg. She is shooting her show on a food TV channel. She sells a range of sauces and spices on her online store.

Early Life
Chef Nti was born Nthabiseng Ramaboa on 22 October 1985 in Tladi, Soweto. She lived with her mother, who was a divorcee, and her sister. She began to cook at age 13.
Her late grandmother played a role in making her love food. She stayed with her grandmother in a big house in the township.
Education
Chef Nti studied at the International Hotel School in Sunninghill. She trained as a Chef under Chef David Higgs.
Career
Businesses
Ramaboa has become an expert judge in food affairs in South Africa. She became a professional Chef in 2015 after she lost all she had in 2014. She had a successful facility management business.
Her company was among the top seven suppliers that cleaned the Johannesburg precinct during the 2010 Soccer World Cup. She also had three known retail stores.
Sadly, her business, which was at its peak showcased at South Africa Fashion Week, collapsed in 2014. Nti had to sell her Hyde Park home and her cars, a Jaguar and a Porsche Cayenne. She started again from zero level and attended chef school.
Celebrity chef Nthabiseng Ramaboa creates stylish aprons and food. After her experience in the fashion world, she was more than qualified to design her range of cooking aprons for both men and women.
Chef
The talented Chef had never considered being a chef. She had always wanted to be an entrepreneur. Among her first big gigs as a celebrity chef was hosting a cooking show, The Perfect Ace, in 2016.
In 2016, Nti joined as a regular cook on Sunrise, a morning show on eTV. She worked at the Good Food & Wine Show in 2017.
Book
Chef Nti published a cookbook titled My Modern African Kitchen. It celebrates maize meal as an ingredient that unites South Africa. She co-wrote the book with former Sowetan entertainment editor Lesley Mofokeng.
Cooking Show
Chef Nti is introducing the world to South Africa with her food show, Street Food in Africa. It airs on the Food Network channel. She has starred as a judge, alongside Les Da Chef, on Season 1 of Mzansi Magic’s celebrity cooking show.
Awards
Chef Nti scooped two awards at the 2020 Luxe Restaurant Awards. She bagged the Best African Restaurant for Taste Kitchen and an Award for Culinary Media Personality of The Year.
