Palesa Madisakwane (born 6 September 1975) is a South African actress and presenter. She played music executive Palesa in the SABC1 soap opera Generations.
The TV personality anchored the defunct show ANN7. She appeared in other productions such as Ashes to Ashes and Nyaniso Dzedze. Her agent is Elysian Management. She has over two decades of roles in drama productions and presenting stints.

Palesa Madisakwane was born on 6 September 1975 in Rockville, Soweto. She has been presenting and acting since she was 16. She joined Lillian Dube’s casting agency at 16 and was part of Tu Nokwe’s Amajika.
Madisakwane did drama at the Soweto Funda Centre for the Arts in 2008.
Palesa has made many television and theatre appearances. She explored her talents as a presenter, news anchor, and producer on ANN7. She also hosted shows such as Gospel Gold.
The actress opened a bridal shop in Sandton, but it was later closed. She plays Rethabile in The Estate, which airs on SABC3. She appeared in Ashes to Ashes (2015-2016) as Thandeka. She appeared in season two of eKasi: Our Stories as Nomsa and played Grace in season two of Gaz’lam.
Her best known role is Palesa in the season one of the soap opera Generations. She played Dimpho in Grown Woman, Dr Shongwe in Isibaya, and Pearl in Loxion Lyric. She appeared in season five of Living the Dream with Somizi.
Palesa played Comfort in season one of Mfolozi Street and Lindi Ntini in season two of Soul Buddyz. She appeared in season one of Raw Silk and played Cressida in season four of The River.
The actress was a guest in season three of Unpacked with Relebogile Mabotja. She played Thandi in the 2013 series Zabalaza. She appeared in an FNB commercial in 2016.
When Madisakwane is not on screen, she focuses on her company and does activations at schools and companies. She is also an independent producer and produced shows for Moja Love.
Madisakwane played Magaret Cadmore in the play Maru at Windybrow Theatre. She also appeared as Sara in Caggabes & Bullets at the Grahamstown Arts Festival.
Other theatre credits include playing Calpunia in Julia Ceasar at Windybrow Theatre and Dudu in To Kill a Mockingbird at the Grahamstown Arts Festival.
Palesa Madisakwane has children. She had her daughter Bahumi Madisakwane with Somizi Mhlongo. She met and fell for Somizi when she was dating another man.
But when Somizi disclosed he was gay, it confused Palesa. At the time, their daughter, Bahumi, was only 10 months old. She has also dated a businessman, Nico Matlala, who she was ten years older than.
Palesa Madisakwane was married to Jakes Mocuminyane. Together, they had a daughter, Khumo Mocuminyane, and a son, Thato. She speaks Setswana, IsiZulu, Sesotho, and English. In 2023, she burned her sangoma clothes and dedicated her life to Jesus. She is a Christian.
Madisakwane had a car accident that left her with physical and mental scars in 2019. She had injuries and several cuts on her forehead. It happened on Witkoppen Road in Johannesburg North.
After the unfortunate incident, she underwent urgent facial reconstruction. Dr. Nicole Kanaris took care of her face.
